Last Night’s games
A couple teams did themselves no favors last night both at
the top and bottom of the bracket.
Marquette has now lost 3 games in a row and has dropped from a 3 to a 5
seed. Facing a 14 seed versus a 12 seed
is a huge deal. Florida lost a tough
games against LSU but that won’t hurt much.
Baylor and Ohio State on the other hand suffered bad losses. Ohio State is now an 11 seed with little room
for error. Clemson and Seton Hall got
wins to remain in. North Carolina State
and Georgetown, both First Four out, lost, with the Hoyas getting destroyed by
DePaul. You should never get destroyed
by DePaul.
Tonight’s Bubble
games:
Temple (12) vs UConn
Temple is a 12 seed and one of my last 4 in. A road win at Connecticut would be a nice
little win to boost the resume and hold off Alabama, Creighton, and North
Carolina State.
Indiana (NF) vs Illinois
This is the exact kind of game Indiana tends to lose. They need tonight, the weekend, and at least
1, if not 2 win in the conference tournament to be considered
Atlantic Sun
Semi-Finals
Lipscomb (11) vs NJIT
Questionable at-large hopes probably die with a loss
tonight. Win tonight and we’ll talk
at-large before the conference tournament final.
Liberty (NF) vs North
Florida
Liberty probably needs to win the auto-bid but I have to
track 8 teams currently not in the bracket and they fall right around 7-8 out.
