Horizon League

The Horizon League begins conference tournament play on Tuesday at on campus sites for the first round, followed by the semifinals and final in Detroit.

Wright State is the 1-seed via tiebreaker over 2-seed Northern Kentucky. Both tied for the league title going 13-5 in conference play. Wright State is 126th in KenPom while Northern Kentucky is 106th. Neither has an overly impressive out of league win. That said, Northern Kentucky would be a bother for someone as a potential 15-seed.

The only other top 200 KenPom teams are Oakland at 190 and IUPUI at 192nd.

The Pick: Wright State - This league has had some chaos in recent years, so the 1-seed winning would buck a trend. Northern Kentucky is the best team and probably the Horizon’s best chance to bust a bracket
