SEC

The last of the tournaments tipping off on Wednesday is the SEC in Knoxville. LSU is the 1-seed and in proper SEC fashion, will probably forfeit it all away anyway.

Kentucky is the 2-seed and Final 4 good. Tennessee is the 3-seed and Final 4 good. South Carolina is the 4-seed and not making the tournament without winning this tournament. That is your bizarre conference tournament note.

Auburn, Ole Miss and Mississippi State are 5-7 seeds and safe bets to dance. The 8-seed is Florida. They’ve lost 3 in a row, are 17-14 overall and 9-9 in league play. And Brian has them as an 11-seed. Simply incredible how bad the bubble is. That said, the computers have loved the Gators all year. It’s the slow tempo. They’re 340th in tempo. They play Arkansas in the 8-9 game and need to win or plan on sweating through Sunday.

Alabama is on the bubble, somehow. But that’ll end with a loss to Ole Miss on Thursday. Should they win, they’d still have to beat Kentucky. Roll Tide.

The Pick: Tennessee- The Vols have stumbled over the last month but they right the ship this week
