Southland

A year after Stephen F. Austin upset West Virginia, the Southland looks like a league that will be a one and done come tourney time. The tournament begins on Wednesday in Katy, TX.

The 1-seed is New Orleans who looks to make their first tournament since 1996. The program was nearly dropped to DIII a few years back but is now back on solid footing. They are also the highest in relation to KenPom at 179.

Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is the 2-seed. Stephen F. Austin is the 3-seed. Neither of them crack the top 200 in KenPom, though Texas A&M CC is 202. Whoever comes out of here is almost certainly a 16-seed.

The Pick: Texas A&M Corpus Christi
