ACC Tournament Enters Stupidity

Let's begin this little preview by saying how stupid it is to have this thing in Brooklyn. Yes, you want to play at MSG because Syracuse is NYC team or something. Stop, just stop. Play this thing in Atlanta or Charlotte or Greensboro where it belongs.

Okay, as for the tournament itself, this is going to be so much fun. UNC, Louisville, FSU & Notre Dame all received double byes. Their reward? UNC is staring the winner of Syracuse/Miami in the face. Miami has a big win over the Tar Heels and Syracuse is a desperate squad.

2-seed FSU will likely get Virginia Tech or Wake Forest. Wake needs wins. 3-seed Notre Dame will likely get Virginia. Virginia will be a heavy favorite. Louisville, the 4-seed, will likely get Duke. The "Elite 8 of the ACC" will be must see-TV. 

My guess is one of the desperate teams sneaks into the semi-finals, either Syracuse or Wake Forest. This thing is wide open and should be the best of the conference tournaments.
