Arch Madness

The Missouri Valley begins Arch Madness on Thursday in St. Louis. Illinois State and Wichita State both finished atop the standings at 17-1. They split their regular season meetings, with both holding serve at home.

The rest of the league is depths behind both teams. No one else broke the .500 mark in league. With Wichita and ISU likely getting an at-large, win or lose, this league stands as a potential bid thief.

That said, I don't see it happening. Loyola is the only top 100 KenPom team, so they'd be the biggest threat to steal a bid.

Brian has Wichita as a 10. Even if they move onto the 8-9 line, they will be criminally underseeded. That means they'll probably be on the 8-9 line in the West with Gonzaga. They're a top 10 KenPom team.

The Pick: Wichita State
