Early Bubble Games:
LaSalle – Davidson:
It’s a shame to even think Davidson is on the bubble. They only have 4 losses when at full strength,
VCU, Richmond, North Carolina, and Virginia.
This is a tournament team.
Memphis – Temple: The
Owls are right on the bubble. They more
than likely fall out with a loss.
Penn State – Purdue: due to other teams losing Purdue is
probably safe. A win makes them a lock
VCU-Richmond: With the
losses of Illinois, Texas A&M, etc, the Spiders are back on the radar. This would be a huge win.
Auburn – LSU: LSU is
the SEC’s equivalent of Purdue
Later Bubble Games:
Indiana – Maryland:
Indiana can probably stay in with a close loss. A blowout might leave a bad taste in the
committee’s mouth
Houston – Tulsa: The
Hurricane’s are the biggest bubble team out there. Poll 50 Bracketologists and 25 will have them
in and 25 will have them out. I have
them out now and I don’t think a win here is enough to get them over the hump
UCLA – Arizona: Win
and you are in. Lose and wait to see
what Tulsa, Temple, etc do
Wyoming – Boise State:
I think Boise State is a lock but you never know if Larry Nance goes
off.
