Bracket Buster: Harvard

They're back!  This Harvard team isn't as strong as the last few but can still spring a first round upset. Sitting at 79 in KenPom, let's take a quick look at the Crimson.

This is pretty poor offensive team. Virginia held them to 27 points! That wasn't an aberration. They have an effective fg% of 47.2%, which is 251st. They're mediocre on the glass and are so-so at protecting the ball. They ain't beating you this way.

They can beat you on defense. Maybe. Teams have an effective fg% of 46.2%. That's okay. They clean the glass and only allow a rebounding % of 27.6%.  That's 33rd best.

Their best player is Wesley Saunders who scores 16ppg. Siyani Chambers and Steve Moundou-Missi, the hero today are the other players to know.

I wouldn't have a lot of faith of this team as a bracket buster unless they draw a poor and sloppy offensive team, sort of like Cincinnati last year.
