Like numbers to pick your upsets? How about this? The Lumberjacks are 2nd in effective fg%, 56.2%. They shoot 38.2 from 3 and 55.5% from 2. That's 33rd and 2nd. And they're 11th in offensive rebounding %. They get to the line at a god clip, too.
They're an aggressive defense. Teams shoot well against them but they're 5th in the nation in turnover %. They foul a lot, though playing that aggressive. 337th in FTA/FGA. Yikes.
They challenged themselves out of conference losing to UNI, Xavier and Baylor and beat Memphis.
Thomas Walkup is the player to know. Jacob Walker is a stud, too. Both are top 25 offensive players. Ty Charles is a top 40 offensive player. This is a good offensive team.
Again, if matched up against a so-so defensive team, they'll be capable of winning a game.
