March Went Mad

The mid-majors have set the stage with only one 1-seed winning their tournaments and today went nuclear.

Michigan kept their tournament hopes alive when Kam Chatman made a 3 to win it with :00.2 left against Indiana. It was only his 8th made 3 of the season.

UConn kept their tournament hopes alive in a 4-overtime thriller against Cincinnati. The Bearcats took the lead at the end of 3 overtimes on a Kevin Johnson 3 only to have the game tied on a Jalen Adams 3 at the buzzer from 70'

In the Pac-12, Oregon won in overtime over Arizona. They were up 77-73 when Gabe York of Arizona hit a 3 with :00.8 of a second left. Oregon inexplicably turned the ball over on the inbounds and fouled the Arizona shooter who made 1/2 FTs to send the game into overtime.

Wayne Selden killed a man. Brian needs to post the dunk with the full minute plus of Brent Musburger going ape and Selden's uncle in full Flavor Flav garb.

And Oklahoma had their hearts ripped out as a Buddy Hield half court make was waved off and West Virginia survived.

Oh, the bubble got way more crowded as Tulsa got run out of the gym by Memphis, South Carolina lost to Georgia and chaos reigned.

A precursor? Let's hope so
