Badger PR spokesman, Jeff Potrykus announced the hire on Twitter this morning. Wisconsin AD Barry Alvraez wisely made the move to deflect off the Bo Ryan story prior to the Big 14 tournament.
The Wisconsin and national media can once again turn their attention away from the implausible investigation by a member of the Wisconsin athletic department that no state funds were used on any recruiting trips Bo Ryan took this particular mistress on. Move along, these aren't the droids you're looking for.
Badger PR spokesman Jeff Potrykus wrote on Saturday the Journal Sentinel was aware of the investigation and allegations this past December but chose not to report on it. According to him, no new revelations were made in the Deadspin report. After being pressed for a link where the report of the investigation by any local press was posted, no comment was given.
