Bids Going Out:
Colonial – Hofstra vs UNC-Wilmington
Should be a good matchup between the top 2 seeds. They
are looking at both being a 14 right about now on the seed line
MAAC – Monmouth vs Iona
Well, Monmouth made it all the way to the
championship. I think I remember Kurlinski predicting this conference
getting two bids back in December. It will be the conversation of the
week if Monmouth loses.
SoCon – Chattanooga vs ETSU
Chattanooga flirted with an at-large profile until about
mid-February. If they win they could be a dangerous 12 seed that no 5
would want to see.
Conference Tournaments Starting:
MEAC
Favorite – Hampton
I’m not going into great deal because this is 16 seed
territory but that was awesome when they beat Iowa State as a 15 seed.
MAC
Favorite – Akron
Love them Zips. They’ve quietly got their RPI into the
mid 30’s. Not bad.
