Tuesday Morning Update

Not much going on last night but Pittsburgh and Xavier lost big games.  Neither fall out of the bracket but Pittsburgh is now a 10 and Xavier is an 11.  North Carolina State staves off eliminate for 1 more game.

Tonight both the Horizon and Atlantic Sun kick off their conference tournaments which we’ve highlighted already.  In Bubble-land there are a handful of important games.

Baylor hosts Iowa State which could be a big statement win for the Bears even though it’s a home game.  Holding steady at a 10 seed a win could push them up and over a couple to a 9 seed.

Georgetown gets Creighton at home.  Georgetown is my 8th team out and won’t get in with a win.  A loss might be it for them.

Providence and Marquette tie up at the Friars home court.  Neither team can afford a loss and this is an elimination game for the Warriors.

Florida State travels to Boston College.  FSU is my 5th team out and a win tonight doesn’t get them in but could push them up 2 or 3 spots.

Arizona State at Oregon.  ASU is fairly comfortable right now as an 8 seed but Oregon hangs around the 11 seed area.  I don’t think they fall out with a loss but they would be in the play in game.
