Well, we have our first bid of the year with Harvard winning the Ivy league last night. They are currently projected as a 12 seed and may be able to move up if there are upsets in the bid conference tournaments. I see that as unlikely though so watch for them to hold tight there and give a 5 seed fits in two weeks.
The Ohio Valley gives their bid out today with Belmont and Eastern Kentucky squaring off. The Bruins are a 13 seed and are very capable of beating a 4 seed. They have excellent 3 point shooting and if they are hot a team like Cincinnati is going to get smoked. A Creighton-Belmont matchup would be great to watch.
Since this is the last Saturday of the regular season almost all bubble teams are in action. The 3 games that stick out are Pittsburgh at Clemson, Missouri at Tennessee, and Colorado at California. These 3 games involves 1 team as a bubble in and 1 team as a bubble out. A lot of movement can happen including trading places in and out with the team that you beat. Very exciting.
Tons of action over the next 16 hours....
