#1 Seed: Belmont
Team Most Likely to Upset 1 Seed: Eastern Kentucky
The Ohio Valley Conference schedules their tournament the
right way, with the top 2 teams getting double byes and only having to win 2
games to get into the NCAA. Belmont escaped the season with the top seed
even though it was supposed to be down year for the Bruins. Eastern
Kentucky was my preseason pick but ended up finishing 3rd. I’m
expecting EKY to upset the 2 seeded Racers of Murray State and face Belmont on
March 8th. Should EKY win they would probably be a 16 seed
while Belmont is currently a 13 seed.
In the end I look for Belmont to be too tough for the
Colonials and grab the first bid of the year on Saturday.
