Big West

The Big West tournament begins on Thursday in Anaheim. If you watch any team, watch UC-Santa Barbara and double-double machine, Alan Williams. Williams is a KenPom favorite and one of those players you should know but might now.  As for who wins...

Final Standings:

1. UC-Irvine, 13-3 (22-10), 81st KenPom

2. UC- Santa Barbara, 12-4 (21-8), 86th KenPom

3. Long Beach State, 10-6 (14-16), 145th KenPom

Any of these 3 are capable of winning the tournament. Dan Monson's Long Beach State has improved dramatically since the beginning of the season so don't get caught looking at the overall record.  Either Irvine or Santa Barbara could be a pesky opening game for someone.

I'll pick the Gauchos just in hope we get to see Alan Williams in the dance.
