Team Most Likely to Upset 1 Seed: Mercer
The Atlantic Sun kicks off its conference tournament
tomorrow night with their bid going out Sunday, the 9th. The
top two teams are Florida Gulf Coast and Mercer who split the season
series. I fully expect these two teams to meet up on Sunday with the bid
hanging in the balance. Should Florida Gulf Coast win they would be a 16
seed and potentially a play in game. Mercer, on the other hand, has a top
100 RPI and conceivably could be a 14 seed although a 15 is more likely.
With Florida Gulf Coast having home court advantage I’ll
take them to grab the bid two years in a row

I'll begrudgingly take Mercer and mark them as a team no one wants to see in the 2nd round
