No new bracketology today....we'll let the Sunday games play out and go from there. Other than that here are a couple things I noticed from yesterday.
1. The SEC is doing everything it can to get less bids. They started the day with 2 in the last 4 in, and 2 in the last 4 out and all lost. Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama all faced must wins and they all lost. Although I don't have an updated bracket I can't see Kentucky and Mississippi hanging on for a bid. The only thing that gives them hope is the fact that on my first 8 out, only Boise State, Maryland, and Southern Miss won.
2. Speaking of Boise State, they will definately be in come Monday. Strong computer numbers and they've railed off a few wins lately. They are peaking at the right time
3. Duke wins and is a 1 seed. Most Bracketologiest won't agree but the committee will evaluate them as the team that has Ryan Kelly...and that team is 16-0. I put Duke above Georgetown and Michigan State (even if they beat Michigan today)
4. Arizona and Butler are falling...fast. They teams were as high as 1 and 3 seeds a couple weeks ago. They are probably 5 and 8 come tomorrow.
5. On the flip side, Marquette and St. Louis, are rising fast. Marquette will take Arizona's spot on the 4 line and may leap past Syracuse on the 3. St. Louis has moved from a bubble team to a 5 seed with momentum. Look out.
