To follow up on what Brian wrote, if you ge a chance, take in some of the Mountain West Action. He's correct when he says this thing is wide open. Should be a 5 bid league. Here's a quick glimpse of where the teams are in regard to KenPom & RPI.
- New Mexico (13-3) - 26 KenPom; 2 RPI
- Colorado State (11-5) - 20 KenPom; 15 RPI
- UNLV (10-6) - 34 KenPom; 22 RPI
- Boise State (9-7) - 48 KenPom; 37 RPI
- San Diego State (9-7) - 27 KenPom; 31 RPI
- Air Force (8-8) - 82 KenPom; 73 RPI
I doubt Air Force is a real threat but they just beat New Mexico this past weekend. UNLV could be the most talented team of the group. A sleeper Final 4 pick at the start of the year, the Rebs' have been an enigma this season. They could win it all or lose tomorrow to Air Force. The tournament is held at the Thomas & Mack Center. Don't get excited, UNLV lost to Fresno State at home this past Saturday.
Should be a good series of games.
