Yesterday's games

Solid day of games yesterday as Louisville knocks off Syracuse to stay in the bracket. That big signature win can go a long way come 27 days from now. Yes, selection Sunday is less than 4 weeks away. As for Syracuse, they'll stay a #1 seed even though they lost mostly because I can't find a compelling reason to move any other team up. Purdue is currently ranked #5 on my "S-Curve" and Duke is #6. Neither of those teams now are worthy of a #1. If either of them win both their conference and conference tournament I could see it but not now.
Other games of interest yesterday were Notre Dame losing again to fall to the brink of elimination and a head-scratching Georgetown loss to Rutgers. Wichita State hangs on at home against Missouri State to hang on to hopes as an at large.
Props to Kurly on his Ohio State article. They are definately a Final Four sleeper. Evan Turner = Danny Manning
