RPI?! SOS?!

Mmmmmblleeeeh. If we're going to talk statistical analysis amongst the aforementioned 5-5 teams in the Big East, can we please move from your rudimentary models to something a bit more advanced? I believe we all know and love a good look at Pomeroy Rankings. Based upon this highly advanced analysis using pythagorean calculations using an application of the log5 formula, we ascertain the following rankings:

Marquette - 18
S Florida - 66
Cincinatti - 69
Notre Dame - 77

Thusly, it is clear that one team stands above the rest. We shall see if it plays out this way in the remaining games.

Side question - does an article like this qualify as dorking out, or dorking off, or just plain being a dork?

I can dork with the best of them but I would never wear a bow tie.

Marquette beats them all in SOS but is behind USF and Cincinnati in RPI but they do get to play them and that's where it should be decided. :)
