It's Friday!

A terrible night for us Wisconsinites as both Marquette and Wisconsin lose. Marquette's loss is more troublesome then Wisky as now they are on the outside looking in. Their SOS and subsequent RPI is not doing them any favors despite an above 500 record in the Big East.

Out
Arkansas State - Sun Belt action baby! There's a 5 way tie for the auto bid after Arkansas State losses
Marquette - As mentioned above, an RPI in the mid 60's. You must protect your home court
Mississippi - losers of 3 of 4 and below .500 in conference

In
North Texas - the Mean Green are awarded the auto-bid based on their 18-8 overall record
St. Mary's - beat San Diego last night and get in more on the losses ahead of them then on their own merit
Florida - call them the Marquette of the south. An RPI around 60 but 7-4 and tied with Tennessee in the SEC. Their stay will be brief

Other Notes
California and Washington both lose to guarantee the PAC-10 a single bid conference. Gross
