19 Days and Counting

With less than 3 weeks to Selection Sunday let's take a quick snapshot at where we are standing. Remember there are 65 teams that make the dance but 31 of them are automatic bids. That leaves 34 bids up for at-large consideration. Taking these 34 slots we can group teams into the below buckets.

Locks - locks speak for themselves
Great Bets - could go .500 the rest of the way and be safe
Good Bets - 1 loss won't hurt but 2 might put them in the bubble
Bubble In - a loss will probably shift them out for now
Bubble Out - out but a big win and/or loss from the Bubble In group and were dancing
Needs Perfection - win out and make their conference tournament title

**Note**
Teams that are winning their conference now will not be counted as they would fit into 1 of the 31 automatic bids. i.e. Duke, Gonzaga, Butler, etc
