Summit League

From Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the Summit League begins its conference tournament tomorrow. Appropriately, the top two teams are South Dakota and South Dakota State. 

SDSU won the regular season title, going an impressive 13-1 in league play. South Dakota finished 2nd at 11-3. The two split the regular season series with each winning on their home court. South Dakota is 65 in KenPom and SDSU is 81. Fort Wayne and North Dakota State are in the KenPom top 200 but the winner should be SDSU or South Dakota.

As some know, there’s a local connection as Milwaukee’s own TJ Otzelberger coaches South Dakota State and has Ben Walker on his staff. The Jackrabbits also have the best player in the conference in Mike Daum.
