Pac-12 Tournament

Another tournament emanating from the college basketball capitol of the world, Las Vegas, is the Pac-12 Tournament. Arizona is the 1-seed and favorite but this thing feels wide open.

Arizona is the highest ranked KenPom team at 26. That’s pretty bad for a “major” conference. Next up is Arizona State at 38 and that’s based largely on its early season exploits. They’re actually the 8-seed in the league. USC is 46 and UCLA is 49. USC is the 2-seed and UCLA is the 4-seed. Utah is the 3-seed but currently out of the bracket.

Arizona is the only lock from the league. USC and UCLA can’t afford slip ups. Arizona State should be safe but I wouldn’t lose to Colorado in the opening round. Arizona should be a marked team as a win over them by any of the bubble teams will probably get that team in. Utah needs to make the final at the very least. Again, there’s a lot at stake in Vegas.

The Pick: UCLA
