The prohibitive favorite will be Vermont. Vermont went 15-1 in league and is 64th in KenPom. Should they make it through, they’ll be a test for someone in the opening round. Their only loss in conference was a 1-point loss to Hartford. They lost by 4 to Kentucky and 2 to St. Bonaventure during the regular season.
UMBC is the 2-seee but Albany is well ahead of them in KenPom. Albany is the 4-seed and probably a team that can pose problems for Vermont in round 2. Vermont beat them by 11 and 5 during the regular season.
