The SEC Tournament goes to a very SEC city and starts its tournament on Wednesday in, ahem, St. Louis. The SEC has been very improved this year and this tournament should be unpredictable.

Auburn is the 1-seed and 11th in KenPom. Tennessee is the 2-seed and 14th in KenPom. Brian has Kentucky, Florida, Alabama, Kentucky, Texas A&M, Missouri and Arkansas in the tournament with Mississippi State outside looking in. After the weekend, I’d guess Bama is outside looking in as well.

Bama plays A&M in the second round. A loss all but puts them in the NIT. Mississippi State plays LSU and gets a crack at Tennessee should they beat LSU. Opportunities abound for the bubble teams.
