Colonial

The Colonial Conference begins its tournament tomorrow from North Charleston, South Carolina. Both Northeastern and College of Charleston finished 14-4 in league play. By virtue of sweeping the season series, College of Charleston earned the 1-seed.

Northeastern is the higher of the two in KenPom at 104. College of Charleston is 121. The other three schools in the KenPom top 200 are Towson, Hofstra and perennially bridesmaid William & Mary. Northeastern enters March on a 7-game winning streak. A potential third matchup against College of Charleston would be good fun.

The sentimental choice of course is William and Mary, one of the teams who has been eligible for every tournament to never make it. It probably isn’t this year.
