Big Sky conference tournament tips-off Wednesday night live from beautiful Boise. Eastern Washington won the regular season title, finishing 16-4. They’re 124th in KenPom. Second place Northern Colorado went 15-5 and is 76th in KenPom. Eastern swept Northern Colorado but the total point difference was just 9 points. Eastern is on a 7-game winning streak.
Montana finished 3rd and is capable of winning this tournament as well. They’re 135th in KenPom. They swept Eastern Washington in the regular season but were swept themselves by Northern Colorado. Montana has won the last two Big Sky tournaments. The 1-seed has won every tournament since 2016.

Conference USA begins its tournament on Wednesday as well. The tournament is being held in Katy, TX. North Texas finished 14-4 and won the regular season league title. They’re 77th in KenPom. Louisiana Tech finished in a tie for second with Western Kentucky. They’re 72nd in KenPom. Western Kentucky is 111th in KenPom.
8 of the 11 other teams are top 200 KenPom teams but Marshall is the only other one in the top 150.
Western Kentucky swept LaTech and split with North Texas. North Texas and LaTech split the regular season.
