I almost forgot, the AAC begins conference tournament play on Wednesday as well. They are playing their games in Fort Worth. UConn can not wait to get the hell out of this league.
Cincinnati is the 1-seed, Houston the 2-seed and Tulsa the 3-seed. In Brian’s latest bracket, only Houston and Cincinnati are in. Tulsa isn’t even considered and they shared the league title. Wichita State and Memphis are on the bubble.
Wichita State is the 4-seed, so they can make their case by winning in the quarters and then beating Houston. Memphis is the 6-seed and if they advance, they’ll play Tulsa. I’m not sure if that helps or not. Either way, it’s not inconceivable one of them steals a bid late.
I’m picking UConn because it would be hilarious
