Nevada is the 1-seed and probably a safe at-large squad. They’re 19th in KenPom. Boise State is the 2-seed and New Mexico is the 3-seed. Fresno State is the 4-seed and San Diego State is the 5. San Diego State is coming off a win over Nevada on Saturday but was 0-2 against Fresno during the regular season.
Boise State is the only other team that could potentially get an at-large bid but would need a lot of help. SDSU is 60th in KenPom and Fresno is 73rd. UNLV who finished 8-10 in league play and is the 8-seed is 101st in KenPom. They do own a win against Nevada.
Bubble teams will watch the Mountain West hoping no one steals a bid. My hunch is, someone steals a bid.
The Pick: Boise State
