Fraud Alert: Notre Dame

Yesterday, Duke stomped Notre Dame. The Irish jumped out to a 6-0 lead which was followed by a 43-7 run by Duke. While that type of run is a bit extreme, it reinforces what the numbers say, Notre Dame is a lousy defensive team. 

I should amend that slightly, they're a lousy defensive team for one sitting in the KenPom top 20. They're at 159 right now in AdjustedD. That profile makes them ripe for an early exit.

They are 2nd in AdjustedO but you saw what a team like Duke did to them. Duke is one of the 4 best teams in the land so you can dismiss it but I wouldn't. Someone is going to run them out of the gym. If they end up in Wisconsin's region, forget it. The Badgers would beat them as bad. 

Jerian Grant is a special player but avoid the Irish come March.
