A-10 Fun

The Atlantic-10 tightened up last night as George Washington beat Dayton at home on a buzzer beater. With VCU suffering injuries to Briante Weber, lost for the season, & Treveon Graham for a game or two, the league is all of a sudden, wide open.

As I write this, VCU is down 8 on the road at St. Bonaventure. Should that lead hold, Rhode Island would move 1/2 game behind the Rams. Right behind them, are Dayton & GW, both 7-3. UMass has rebounded nicely as well, now at 6-3 in conference.

At 5-4 are the Bonnies, LaSalle, Davidson & Richmond. Davidson is without G Jack Gibbs right now and have hit a bit of a rough patch. All 4 of these teams are capable of making life miserable for the upper half of the league. In fact, Richmond & Davidson are higher in KenPom than URI & GW.

Should be a fun February in the A-10 with teams jumping on and off the bubble.
