9. Oregon: My lone Pac-12 team had the year's most impressive beat down yesterday as the absolutely jackhammered Arizona. You haven't seen a beat down like than since Sonny Corleone against Carlo.
8. Baylor: Think it was Rob Dauster that made this interesting observation about Baylor yesterday, we didn't know if they were offensively strong enough to mount a big game comeback. They did and should have forced overtime but Johnathan Motley missed a shot he probably makes 99% of the time. Big XII is bananas.
7. Kansas: Sell, sell, sell. Just not good enough defensively. They'll win the league because everyone else is beating each other but don't get sucked in by them in March.
6. Florida: Buy, buy, buy. Top ten defense, top 20 offense. Michael White making his mark. Kentucky is actually going to have to work for a SEC title.
5. Kentucky: Have lost 3 of 4. They needed overtime to win at home against Georgia in that stretch. They'll be favored the rest of the way out but are they in a funk or just not that great a team. Let's see how they respond.
4. North Carolina: They lead the best league in the nation and have a +398 scoring differential. Carolina is weirdly under the radar. Like Kansas, the defense is shaky.
3. Villanova: Have no equal in league play. Waiting for March.
2. Louisville: Earlier, I was convinced Louisville simply didn't have enough offense to win in March. Well, the offense had been spectacular the last 3 weeks. Big game against the evil Virginia squad tomorrow night. Virginia has been a problem for them.
1. Gonzaga: 4th in both offensive and defensive efficiency after yesterday. They're the best team in the nation right now.
