9. Arizona - Allonzo Trier being back has Wildcat fans excited. A sweep in LA is more exciting. They have a trip to Oregon in a few weeks that could decide the league. Don't look now, but Arizona is the team to beat in the Pac-12.
8. Florida State - Two excellent wins this week over Notre Dame and Louisville at home. Next three games are on the road. All are winnable and they'll be favored but 2-1 will be good.
7. West Virginia - Mountaineers have lost two straight in the wild Big XII. Have a chance to right the ship with home games against Kansas & Texas A&M this week. KenPom numbers have slipped as well. Big week for them.
6. Baylor - Keep waiting for a tumble. Hasn't happened yet.
5. North Carolina - 6 straight ACC wins but haven't hit the tough part of the league schedule yet. Not the sexiest Tar Heel team but pretty steady.
4. Kansas - Nice win at Iowa State this week. Now they travel to West Virginia and Kentucky this week. That's a wild week. Defense is a major concern. Frank Mason is my NPOY.
3. Gonzaga - Zags are 1 in KenPom so dismiss them at your own peril. Only team in the top 10 offensively and defensively.
2. Kentucky - Game against Kansas will tell us a lot. The SEC is such trash.
1. Villanova - With Creighton losing Watson, Nova should cruise in the Big East. Have Virginia at home next Sunday in a game that will make glaciers look fast.
