Midweek Notes

Tuesday and Wednesday were not kind to some top ten teams.  Kansas, Duke, Miami, Iowa State, and Maryland all lost.  How does this affect the top end of the bracket?

  1. Kansas moves behind Oklahoma but remains a 1 seed
  2. Maryland drops to a two seed replaced by a surging UNC. 
  3. Duke drops from a 2 to a 4 and is replaced by Kentucky
  4. Miami and Iowa  State both drop a seed line.
  5. South Carolina swaps places with Texas A&M



Teams Falling out of the bracket:

  1. Houston, replaced by Connecticut as the Auto Bid in the ACC
  2. High Point, replaced by UNC-Ashville as the Auto Bid in the Big South based on RPI
  3. Jackson State, replaced by Texas Southern as the Auto Bid in the SWAC
  4. Davidson, replaced by Indiana due to a loss to Dayton
  5. UCLA, replaced by Cincinnati due to a loss to USC
