Friday Morning Update

We had a couple auto-bids change hands since Wednesday and two teams drop out.

Maryland and Seton Hall both lost which pushed them out.  Taking their spots were Utah State and Duke.  Duke seems like a reach at this point but they do have a top 35 KenPom number and are finally healthy. This is not a final four team but they are tournament worthy when healthy.

As for tonight we have one bubble game with the top two teams from the Mountain West playing each other, Colorado State and Boise State and one game between top 10 teams.  Iowa visits Illinois in what should be a high scoring affair.  Iowa is currently a 2 seed and Illinois a 4 seed.  There's not much difference between the two and they could flip if Illinois wins.

Welcome to the 2020-2021 Season...

 Yes, I know I'm about 2 months late to start this blog up but there's been a lot going lately and I just found some free time (injury rehab).  I'm putting together my first bracket of the year today so look for that tonight.

After today I should be able to get on my regular schedule of two brackets a week and updates throughout.

We are NOT discussing the situation with Duke until the are firmly within the bracket.  It's going to be a miracle run for them this year....
